Lincolnshire Care Association (LinCA) have announced the launch of the 2019 Lincolnshire Care Awards and we are delighted to be co-sponsoring the ‘Caring Together Award’ with Lincolnshire County Council for the second year running.
The Lincolnshire Care Awards celebrate the best in care in Lincolnshire (since 2016) and recognise those on the front-line of social care in the county. This year the awards will be aimed at frontline workers and managers rather than corporate entities, to recognise the skills and dedication of this vital but often unrecognised workforce.
The ’Caring Together Award’ recognises services and providers who demonstrate effective partnership working with unpaid family and friend carers. We are looking for those who show they value the support of unpaid carers and work together with them to meet the needs of their loved ones. If you help to identify, support and work with the person’s own family and friends to ensure the best person-centred care possible, or know someone that does, then nominate them now!
Nominations are now open and will close on the 30th September2019. Judging will take place during the first two weeks of November with the Gala Award Evening taking place on the 27th February 2020 at the County Assembly Rooms, Lincoln.
