Due to the volumes of calls we receive to the helpline, Oasis is looking for an additional volunteer to take calls and support carers. Ideally you will have personal experience of caring for someone with substance misuse and must have empathy and a listening ear.
Volunteer Role Description
You will be provided with a mobile phone so that the role can be undertaken from home etc. The only requirement to come to our offices will be for training and meetings to discuss progress and issues.
This volunteer appointment will be made following an informal interview.
