Our Carer Champion Forum is an online area for Carer Champions in Lincolnshire.
Who is a Carer Champion?
A Carer Champion is a member of staff who coordinates the identification and support of Carers within their organisation. They will act as a voice for Carers within the organisation and be a key point of contact for Carer information within the organisation in which they work.
They understand the importance of the role of a Carer and can identify the signs of someone who perhaps, unknowingly is caring.
What is the Carer Champion Forum?
The goal of the Carer Champion Forum is to help improve the support provided by organisations to unpaid carers who they may be working with and employees within their organisation who have caring responsibilities.
It is a platform for professionals and employers to openly discuss best practice and policies with the intent of enabling peer-to-peer learning and development that will lead to improved support provided to unpaid Carers in Lincolnshire.
