Grandparent Carers and Substance misuse - help requested !

Hi,
We have been discussing with Lincolnshire County Council Young Carers Service about children with parents who have substance misuse. We have been thinking about how the grandparents may be a way of identifying young carers as they may be providing the support the parent is not able to.
Any thoughts, contacts and ideas welcome.

Hi Vicky, It might be a little stereotypical to assume but would engaging with local community groups that elderly people may attend be a good starting point? Such as quilting groups, alotment groups, mens sheds, model and craft groups or communites etc or even faith groups.
