The Stardust Story
Impetus to develop STARDUST came from Sara Sprague. Having watched many wonderful productions at St Francis School, in Lincoln, from “War Horse” to “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Mary Poppins”, it was clear to see the joy, happiness and pride each student experienced from performing together.
In 2017, Sara’s daughter and her peers were about to leave school, with the help of a few other Mums: Rachel Pavitt and Jo Slack, they were determined to ensure their love of drama continued, whilst also providing a place where they could continue their friendships whilst making new ones – and so the idea of STARDUST was sown.
With the help of the charity Every-One, STARDUST has become a reality.
The ethos for STARDUST is built on:
• Inclusion – a place for everyone to have fun, meet new people & enjoy being together with friends
• Creativity – a place where everyone can be free to express themselves, share ideas & have the opportunity to perform in their own unique way.
• Positivity – a place for everyone to feel proud, happy and a sense of achievement
In addition, STARDUST offers a social opportunity for parents / carers to meet and get information on services and support
