Who gets missed — and why?
Not everyone slips through the gaps by accident.
This session explores the people we don’t notice, don’t prioritise, or unintentionally overlook. We’ll reflect on how bias, time pressure, system design and familiarity shape who gets our attention — and who doesn’t.
We’ll explore:
- How “quiet”, “compliant” or “complex” people can become invisible
- The impact of assumptions and cognitive shortcuts
- What noticing really requires in busy systems
- Small shifts that help people feel seen before crisis
For anyone willing to ask: “Who didn’t I notice this week?”
