Energy Limiting Conditions

Every-One is launching a programme of events to support people living with energy‑limiting conditions across the county of Lincolnshire. The programme included a free online information webinar in May 2026, and is followed by a series of accessible, face‑to‑face events taking place in different locations across Lincolnshire over the coming months. Together, the events are designed to reduce isolation, share practical support, and help people navigate information and services in ways that do not add to fatigue or overwhelm. Energy‑limiting conditions include conditions such as ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Long COVID, Fibromyalgia, MS, cancer‑related fatigue, and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Many people living with these conditions experience daily challenges accessing information, support, and community in ways that recognise fluctuating energy levels. The first event in the programme was an online webinar on 13 May 2026 (6pm–7pm), offering clear, gentle guidance on where to find trusted information and support in Lincolnshire, including how to use Connect to Support Lincolnshire. Starting in June 2026, three face‑to‑face events will be delivered in multiple parts of the county. These will use a relaxed “marketplace” format, combining short talks and opportunities to meet local community organisations offering support and others experiencing similar conditions. Each event will include quiet or rest spaces and flexible ways to take part, recognising the realities of living with limited energy. Speaking about the programme, Vicky Thomson, Chief Executive of Every‑One, said: “Living with an energy‑limiting condition can make everyday life, including finding the right information or support, feel exhausting. These events are about doing things differently: slowing the pace, reducing pressure, and creating spaces where people feel understood, believed and supported.” The programme is being developed with people who have lived experience at its heart, ensuring that the format, content and delivery reflect what actually helps in real life, rather than what systems assume people need.
