As part of the project, we are working with employers and organisations in a variety of ways, including offering awareness sessions for employees.
Menopause and Mental Health Awareness: This one-hour session—delivered either in person or online, raises awareness around the impact of menopause on mental health. It can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your organisation.
We can also provide support for existing in-house menopause initiatives, offering guidance on setting up groups, developing them further and collaborating with the relevant teams involved.
Why not join our employer network?
We meet quarterly virtually, to explore a range of menopause-related topics that support organisations – such as upcoming legislation, best practices and strategies for implementing workplace changes. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity to share experiences and learn from others.
As part of the network, we have been developing a new Lincolnshire Standard for organisations that have, or wish to introduce, menopause champions, buddies, or friends (titles may vary). This standard outlines recommended training and defines key roles to help support colleagues effectively. The Menopause Champion/Buddy/Friend in the Workplace guidance is now available here.
Our next Peri Meri Menopause Employer Network is on:
Thursday 16th July – 10.30am to 12.00pm
To join this meeting please register here.
The notes from the last meeting held on 22nd April can be found here.
