County Carers

Who we are

County Carers is an online group for families who care for adults or adolescent children with learning disabilities and/or autism throughout Lincolnshire. Our aim is to support families to gain the knowledge and confidence to fulfill their potential, both in their caring roles and beyond.

County Carers is led by the County Carers Steering Group who meet monthly to discuss new ways to support carers and ensure that we continue to meet the needs of families in Lincolnshire. They bring a vast range of professional and caring experience.

County Carers – The backstory

County Carers has been running for many years and has provided a range of support to families across Lincolnshire. Following the passing of Wendy Adams BME, County Carers joined Every-One and was relaunched in June 2020.

What we do

We provide information to help families make decisions about their caring roles and the support available. We also have a regular newsletter where we share updates on County Carers, interesting articles, and helpful tools for caring, wellbeing and more.

To receive the newsletter please sign up here.

We have also developed an online platform to connect families in Lincolnshire with others who share similar experiences. The County Carers group is a safe space for families and carers to share stories, seek or offer advice and access peer support. Find our County Carers Community at:

We are excited to be hosting events which bring together families, professionals, and organisations. Through networking, workshops and talks, we will explore a whole range of topics relevant to caring. You will find information about all our upcoming events on this website and on our social media pages.

For Professionals, Charities and Organisations

Partnership working is important to us and so we are always looking for new ways to work with others to support families in Lincolnshire. As we expand our portfolio, we will develop information, support and events for professionals, charities, and other organisations. If you are a professional or organisation, please share this website with carers, sign up to receive our newsletter and get in contact to work with us.
