We understand that this is an extremely challenging time for employers and working carers. You may have some carers working for you who are particularly worried about the person they care for during this uncertain time. You may also have some employees who have become carers for the first time.
We also recognise that finding the right information when it’s needed can be overwhelming, which is why the Public Health team at Lincolnshire County Council have created a ‘Guidance for Carers’ document, providing advice and support during the COVID-19 outbreak. The document provides information, links and advice to support carers in their caring role (please note, this document was last updated on the 22/04/2020). The document also includes information regarding sources of support both local and national, information on what to do if you are a new carer, advice for Young Carers and advice for those who may employ a personal assistant by direct payment.
Please note, this document is Employer Neutral and can be used to share amongst your networks.
