Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum (LPCF) have been formally recognised for their support for unpaid carers.
During a presentation on Friday 22nd September 2017, the organisation received the Lincolnshire Carers Quality Award from the Lincolnshire based organisation, Every-One. Every-One works to support unpaid carers and those they care for and the Carers Quality Award is funded by the Lincolnshire County Council Health and Wellbeing Board.
Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum have been working with Every-One for the last few months to gain the accreditation, recognising their commitment to identifying and supporting unpaid carers, in particular parent carers.
Julie Goy, Quality Development Lead for Every-One, presented the award to the team at Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum.
She said: “It has been a pleasure to work with LPCF throughout the last few months, supporting them to achieve the Quality Award.
The organisation works very hard to provide excellent support, mainly by volunteers, for the unpaid carers and are motivated and proactive in ensuring they have effective support in place and have rightly been recognised for their work.’’ Many Congratulations
